"The KINGS EP makes a solid first impression dishing out 3 rock solid songs in a row. As the EP unfolds I can hear many musical influences reminiscent of classic: The Civil Wars, The Head and The Heart, Lady Antebellum, James Vincent McMorrow. Right from the start you will notice Brown and company feel quite comfortable just letting it all hang out musically, not holding anything back. The overall musical vibe has a nice Alternative-Folk-Rock feel to it. The bands playing is rock solid across the board as they dish out impressive things like well placed Piano, Violin, Cello, Mandolin Ukulele, impressive guitar ambiance, rock solid rhythm section and impressive vocal harmonies. Equally as impressive is the singing tandems of Brown and Young as they both take several vocal risks throughout the CD indicating a strong and confident vocal collaboration and ability."
