Reception Night! "Out Of Africa" (Black History Month) says
#ArtVillageGallery opens its first exhibition of 2017 with a chill outside, but the annual #OutofAfrica exhibition in honor of #BlackHistoryMonth will be Hot!

Art Village Gallery is deliberate in its efforts to be a cultural destination as a means to enlighten and socially connect the community to different cultures using the common language of art, occasionally food and often times music. So come out and view the exhibition, try some chinchin, vibe to the unique music, and by all means feel free to wear your neglected African attire. It will be a night of pure African culture!!

Tayo Adenaike | Adewale Adenle | Upjohn Aghaji | Stacey Okparavero | Adeboba Afolabi

This powerful exhibition will proffer discussion around socio-political commentary that impacts and influences the human condition and the world in which we live. A group of five contemporary Nigerian artists will display visceral subject matters and context using bold colors and cultural expressions.

The exhibition will be on view from January 27 - February 18, 2017
