Any fan of Johnny Cash’s music will instantly fall in love with RING OF FIRE. A musical by genre, this toe-tapper is so much more than that. It weaves a generations-long story of home and family-all through the music of the Man in Black. The show’s song list includes Cash’s “Country Boy,” “A Thing Called Love,” “Five Feet High and Rising,” “Daddy Sang Bass,” “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” and “I’ve Been Everywhere.”

Joanne Cash (sister to legendary country music artist, Johnny Cash) will help GCT kick off opening night . Ms. Cash will conduct two meet and greet receptions and attend the opening performance as well as perform two numbers herself in support of her latest gospel duets album- Breaking Down the Barriers. This album features the last known song written by Johnny Cash and is sung by his siblings, Joanne and Tommy. This one night only event will take place on October 23. Tickets are $50 for members and $75 for non-members. All other performances will return to GCT’s standard ticket prices. Ticket holders for opening night will receive access to RING OF FIRE: THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH as well as pre- and post-show receptions with Ms. Cash and admission to Ms. Cash’s performance.
