Hard Rock Cafe Memphis says
After a decade of training and booking some of the nation’s most acclaimed dance professionals including “Lil Buck” of the Madonna Tour & Ladia Yates of Usher’s most recent tour, Tarrik Moore joins his wife, Kia Moore, to launch a program targeting talented youth impacted by low-income neighborhoods, single parent homes and at-risk environments. The Moore Foundation, a youth based project, that houses the MJ Urban Ballet & Mosaic World Conference (MoWoCo), will offer enriching programs with strategic curriculum and technical dance instruction. MoWoCo is already impacting six continents using virtual technology to empower students and young adults, while MJ Urban Ballet is an evolution of the internationally acclaimed U-DIG Dance Academy.

Tarrik & the Hard Rock Cafe Memphis on Beale Street will join together on Tuesday, October 27th at 6:00pm to premiere the city’s first MJ Urban Ballet Production with lights, cameras, action, fanfare and of course world-class choreography with Hollywood quality performances. Following the event, the Moore’s will launch the MoWoCo curriculum in local schools, offer field trip opportunities for students and allow up to 200 students to enroll in their special annual program. The cost for enrollment in the annual program is only $30 per student.

Tickets to the event are $30 and each purchase will serve as a scholarship for one of the 200 children that the Moore’s plan to impact over the next 12 months. All proceeds go toward scholarships for MJ Urban Ballet/MoWoCo participants.
