Miami turns 120 years old today, which is young by most city standards. We're practically the millenials of metropoles—the kids who party hard, thrive on technology and live life one hack at time. But Miami is still growing and as the city continues evolving, we’re also reminded of how far we’ve come. In honor of Miami’s big day—and #throwbackThursday!—we’ve dug up old photos of the city. While these incredible images only tell part of Miami’s history, do notice the cool octogenarians chilling on Ocean Drive where today you’ll find drag queens slaying. The people may change, but the magic of this Magic City always stays the same.
