As Miami slowly gets back on its feet after taking a lashing from the massive Hurricane Irma, the city's hospitality industry is stepping up to help where it can. Bars and restaurants are offering wi-fi to those in need. Many Miami hotels are offering specials to first responders and residents still without power.

And today the Miami Beach mecca of sweets, Sugar Factory (the Ocean Drive location at 1144 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach) announced its contribution to the recovery effort: free meals for anyone and everyone affected by the storm. All you have to do is head to the side entrance of Sugar Factory on 12th Street, say you're there for the free Irma meal and you'll receive a complimentary turkey and Swiss sandwich, bag of chips, fresh fruit and one drink. The deal is available from 11am–4pm from September 13–15. The special requires no proof of residency or other fine print—just free food to those in need while supplies last. Lord knows you and your hurricane snack stash could use a break.
