Fri 24

The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition
Florida’s largest county fair, better known as the Youth Fair, is back and chock-full of events and activities for the whole family. Expect more than 90 carnival rides, live concerts, shows and a European-style circus all in one place.

Ultra Music Festival 2017
The week’s big event is the longest-running dance-music festival in the U.S. and has been a legend around the world since launching in 1999. Expect three days of DJ sets, performances and all sorts of beats. Who’s playing? Well, who isn’t? See Major Lazer, The Prodigy, Justice, Ice Cube, Carl Cox, Steve Aoki and others.

All the Way
President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s attempts to wangle passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 form the basis of this wonky historical drama, with a diverse cast of characters that includes Martin Luther King Jr., Lady Bird Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover and more.

Sat 25

Dry Powder
Sarah Burgess's slashing dark comedy about corporate greed and image control stars Katherine McDonald (Jenny), Alex Alvarez (Seth), Stephen Anthony (Rick) and Robert Strain (Jeff) as partners in a private-equity firm who are at odds over a deal. It's directed by GableStage's artistic director, Joseph Adler.

Axwell & Ingrosso
One of the hottest Miami Music Week events takes place at Story nightclub in South Beach, where Swedish DJ duo Axwell and Ingresso will take the stage for an all-night rager. Advance tickets mean no waiting in line for this one.

Sun 26

Miami Tennis Open 2017
Grab your most stylish athleisure for the 2017 Miami Open. Considered one of the world’s largest tennis events, the Open offers dozens of games—featuring internationally ranked men and women—for thousands of spectators.

Dandy Lion, “(Re)Articulating Black Masculine Identity”
The first comprehensive exhibit of its kind, the project examines the black dandy phenomenon in popular culture, from what it means to be black to what it means to be fashionable. Photographs and videos highlight individuals challenging the perception of black masculinity in today’s world by remixing Victorian-era fashion with traditionally African sartorial sensibilities. A rare treat.
