The A+E District is having a Taco Tuesday competition tomorrow with 11 local favorites including Bodega, Doce Provisions, Taquiza and more. Music will be provided by 305 veterans Afrobeta and admission is free with an RSVP via eventbrite.com.

The Miami Beach club Basement (one of the best in our opinion) is launching a new weekly party this Wednesday. It’s called Coco Jelly, and it will feature a blend of hip-hop and dancehall. Reid Waters and Jamaican native Silent Addy will be DJing the inaugural party this Wednesday. From 10pm to midnight, Ladies will bowl and skate for free as well as receive a complimentary slushy.

House of Creatives Music Festival is happening this week. Headliners MGMT, Alt-J and more will play two days worth music on Virginia Key Beach Park. Both single-day and weekend passes are still available via hocfest.com.
