Back in August, we learned that the Coyo Taco team was up to something in Wynwood. Coyo’s Alan Drummond and Sven Vogtland teased a coming record store (a first in Wynwood) and an adjacent convenience store (another first, surprisingly).

Today, more details emerged about the project. And there’s a lot more to it than the Coyo family previously led on.

To start, all the concepts will be housed in a giant 10,000 square foot indoor/outdoor complex called 1-800-Lucky. In addition to Lucky Records, there will be an Asian marketplace with seven different food vendors serving various cuisine. Those vendors will be a new Chinese barbecue concept called Lotus + Cleaver, Japanese ramen shop Hayato Miami, two Vietnamese concepts MYUMI and Bahn Mi, Chinese eatery YIP, Anaheim import Poke OG and the New York City Japanese ice cream favorites, Taiyaki, whose fish-shaped cones you’ve probably seen Instagram'ed into oblivion.

But wait—there’s more.

1-800-Lucky will also feature a karaoke bar and a small theater available for private events. Lucky Records will also be on the property along with that convenience store you were promised, which will sell all your basic gas station needs: cigarettes, Red Bull, etc.

Though an exact opening date hasn't been announced, 1-800-Lucky says it will open to the public this month. You can keep up with the happenings via Instagram at @luckyrecordsmiami and @1800lucky as well as at the market's website, luckyrecordsmiami.com.
