Get free coffee in Sunset Harbour tomorrow

According to numerous studies, most unofficial and otherwise conducted by surveying our own bank accounts, people spend more money on coffee than they do on most things. Lucky for us, a new Sunset Harbour coffee shop is giving us a brief reprieve from the expensive habit this Friday.

Kahwa Coffee (1701 Purdy Ave), which was previously only available at local restaurants, opens its first Miami location on March 30. To celebrate, it’s giving away free coffee drinks—that means espressos, cappuccinos and however else you choose to caffeinate—from 7am to 7pm tomorrow.

Serving you that gratis cup of Joe will be none other than Michelle Bernstein. No, the James Beard Award-winning chef isn’t switching careers, she’s actually a huge fan of Kahwa and sells it at her Design District shop Crumb on Parchment. You’ll need to rise early to get your special Bernstein brew: the chef will be the guest barista from 9am to 11am. Forget hitting snooze tomorrow.
