According to the CDC, social-distancing calls for two people—with masks on!—to stay six-feet apart from one another. But what does that distance actually look like? It seems a lot of us are struggling with the concept, and not just the people who’ve never seen a ruler or apparently failed geometry. But help is on the way.

Miami-Dade County along with a handful of local Instagram accounts have come up with clever ways to understand the six-feet-apart mandate. The guidelines feature items Miamians should be familiar with, like a Noche Buena spit roaster or a row of croqueticas. Because if there’s anything that’ll get a Miamian to pay attention it’s croquetas. We’re all safer at home but if you do go out, make sure there’s an imaginary lechón between you and the person next to you.
