Four New World Symphony fellows take listeners on distinctive musical journeys. Stick around for an insightful chat with the composers following their performances.

Move Your Body at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort

Break a sweat with fitness guru Randi Greene, who leads three special classes at the Miami Beach wellness resort. The price of each session includes access to the hotel’s thermal experience (a nine-suite, hot and cold therapy circuit) and the rooftop pool, so be sure to make time for a post-workout soak.

Sat 3

Daybreaker: Glitter & Gold

What’s more effective than coffee? Loud music, a wild dance party and a centering yoga session—and it’s all going down this weekend at the historic Security Building in Downtown. The national roving party touches down for another early morning bash to jumpstart the weekend. (117 NE 1st Ave)

Tropical Soul

Get ready for a whole lotta salsa, reggae and more soul-stirring beats. The daylong music and arts event kicks off with a painting and dancing session for families and continues well into the night with a variety of musical performances from the likes of Grammy-nominated local group Conjunto Progreso and Kelissa, among others. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Tropical Bay Day at Biscayne Bay Brewing Company

Biscayne Bay Brewing marks the release of its latest IPA beer with a daylong event. Expect food trucks, games and live music to keep you fed and entertained while you sip on the $5 brews.

Cork & Fork

Before you take to the streets for some Carnaval dancing, fuel up at the third annual Cork & Fork, an open-air food and wine festival. Savor generous samples from Miami culinary standouts Finka Table & Tap, Phuc Yea and many more, and stick around for cooking demonstrations and live music. (Miracle Mile between LeJeune Rd and Ponce de Leon Blvd, Coral Gables)

Sun 4

305 Day Block Party

Did you know Miami has its own official day? Celebrate March 5, or 305 Day, a day early at the Leah Arts District’s massive block party, hosted by Power 96 DJ Lucy Lopez. Expect music, food, drinks and lots of cafecito to keep you fueled.

CMX Cinemas Oscars Watch Party

The Brickell City Centre movie theater rolls out the red carpet for movie buffs this Oscar Sunday. Don your best designer look for a special viewing party of the 90th Academy Awards that includes complimentary prosecco, a charcuterie board, dessert and more. There will be no sore losers.
