There’s a new rooftop bar coming to Little Havana

We’re suckers for a good Little Havana concept. Just a few weeks ago, we were fawning over Michelle Bernstein and Julio Cabrera’s upcoming Café La Trova. And today, it’s Life House Little Havana that has our attention.

The new boutique hotel is set to open in Little Havana some time this month with some bells and whistles that should appeal to locals. Life House will debut both a casual new restaurant and very dope-looking rooftop bar. The restaurant, called Parcela, will be a café with a garden courtyard. The menu will be pretty simple and straightforward: coffee from Per’La, local JoJo tea and breakfast in the morning. Lunch and dinner will feature a menu heavy on the veggies.

The rooftop bar should be opening to the public next spring. The food and beverage department is run by the talented Broken Shaker veteran Brian Griffiths, who is also behind the forthcoming Downtown cocktail bar and restaurant Over Under. Details–including specific drinks and programming–are sparse as of now, but renderings of the planned rooftop bar show a breezy, casual space with plenty of intimate seating. It all looks very promising and already has us counting down the days until spring.
