These three Florida wellness destinations made the list of America’s top 10 hotel spas

Florida is famous for its sun-drenched beaches and endless coastlines, but the Sunshine State is also heavyweight in the world of high-end wellness. In the latest USA Today 10Best Hotel Spas list—nominated by industry experts and voted on by readers nationwide—three Florida destinations secured top spots.

Acqualina Spa at Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach (Sunny Isles Beach, FL) scored the number two spot. At this beachfront sanctuary tailored for deep relaxation, you can immerse yourself in European thermal therapy amenities, including a Finnish sauna, a crystal steam room, an ice fountain and a shower infused with warm mists. Outdoors, an oceanfront pool terrace features a heated jet pool complete with a soothing Roman waterfall. Eau Spa at Eau Resort & Spa (Manalapan, FL) rounds out Florida’s entries at number five. This spa brings a playfully luxurious approach to wellness across its 42,000-square-foot footprint. Personalization is at the heart of the experience: each of the 19 treatment rooms allows full customization of the sensory environment with tailored scents, ambient lighting and music selections. The expansive facility also boasts a candlelit Wishing Well, a lush outdoor garden with dipping pools, custom body scrub and polish bars, saunas, steam rooms and oversized whirlpool tubs.
