Two Miami restaurants cracked the global top 50 on a new ranking of the world's best burgers.

Miami has spent years building a reputation as one of the country's most exciting dining destinations. Now, a new global ranking suggests the city deserves a little more credit for its burgers, too. The newly released World's 101 Best Burgers list for 2026 includes two Miami restaurants, with both landing in the top 50 worldwide.
Leading the way is Sunny's, which ranked No. 43 globally. The Little River restaurant has become one of Miami's toughest reservations since reopening, drawing crowds for its wood-fired cooking, sprawling outdoor setting and burger that has earned plenty of praise from local diners and national critics alike.
Close behind is La Birra Bar, which landed at No. 44 on the list. The Argentine-born burger concept has developed a loyal following for its towering burgers, griddled patties and over-the-top combinations, helping it expand well beyond South Florida in recent years.
While Miami may not have matched cities like New York or London in total appearances, placing two restaurants back-to-back in the global top 50 is no small feat. In fact, only a handful of American cities managed multiple entries that ranked this highly.
The rankings were compiled by the team behind World's Best Burgers, which evaluates burger restaurants around the globe. This year's top spot went to Bleecker Burger in London, followed by fellow London favorite Black Bear Burger. Sydney's Café Margaret rounded out the top three.
For a city often associated with Cuban sandwiches and late-night, the results are another reminder that Miami's culinary strengths extend far beyond its most famous dishes.
