At some point, brunch became less about the food and more about the cocktails and entertainment. People will pay big money for a tiny piece of toast so long as it comes with unlimited servings of an alcoholic beverage. (Who’s with me?) The latest spot to cater to these thirsty weekend patrons is Wynwood bar Rácket, which just introduced a new, booze-soaked brunch.
Every Sunday from 1 to 5pm, Rácket offers an á la carte menu of light, lunch-y fare and an $18 beverage package of bottomless rosé and mimosas. Hold court on one of the couch setups and share charcuterie boards and Mediterranean platters or snack on fish dip and ahi tuna rolls. While food choices are limited, the drinks are copious enough to make you forget it’s almost Monday.
