The Local Flea, from Miami-based decluttering service Remoov, stocks pre-owned furniture and decor you can shop online or IRL at its 10,000-square-foot warehouse in Doral (7457 NW 55th St). Unlike regular second-hand stores, its curated inventory comprises the stuff Remoov’s experts sort through and select for resale. In other words, it's not the items they opt to recycle or toss after sorting through their client's homes.
The tech-based pickup service uses an algorithm to determine an item’s value before adding it to its collection, which means everything is vetted and in very good condition. From well-known brands to one-off vintage finds, you’ll find pieces for your home at up to 90–percent off retail prices. Think affordable and sustainable. And the best part? It's all in stock and ready to bring home, which you probably can't say about the West Elm couch you ordered in the fall that's still on backorder.
