Miami is home to a slew of must-try cocktail bars, but Time Out's number one bar in the 305 just earned acclaim on the international stage. ViceVersa was officially crowned the "Best U.S. Hotel Bar" at the 20th annual Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in New Orleans. Hosted in partnership with Food & Wine, the prestigious ceremony brought together top industry talent to celebrate the global drinks community. Selected by a panel of more than 250 expert judges, ViceVersa stands out as the only Miami establishment to take home a trophy this year.

This milestone moment builds on the bar's meteoric rise. After earning a top-four finalist nomination for "Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar" last year, ViceVersa returned to New Orleans to claim the ultimate title. This year’s conference theme was "Spark," highlighting the passion and creativity driving modern hospitality, and ViceVersa embodies that theme.

Located in The Elser Hotel in Downtown Miami, ViceVersa is all about Italian aperitivo culture. Bartender Valentino Longo, born and raised in Rome, has crafted a modern guide to amaro, vermouths and Italian spirits through his cocktail program. Guests can dive into inventive drinks featuring everything from a large-format Seasonal Negroni Punch to an indulgent Affogato Martini topped with house-made pistachio ice cream.

Bathed in deep teal hues and a sultry, soft glow, ViceVersa effortlessly captures a cool, moody charm. It’s a true "bartender’s bar" that remains welcoming to all, whether you're a cocktail enthusiast, a clued-in hotel guest or a local stopping by for a very well-made drink.

The experience is elevated further by a stellar food program created in partnership with the team behind Sunny’s. Guests can pair intricate martinis with fresh scallop crudo or vibrant Neapolitan-style pies like "The Italian Job," loaded with vodka sauce, sausage and ’nduja.

By blending world-class mixology, effortlessly cool hospitality and incredible food, ViceVersa has now officially set the standard for hotel bars across the nation.
