It’s been a bizarre 48 hours for Ye—and his fans. The rapper, who officially changed his name from Kanye West in October 2021, has been trending on social media for a string of impassioned Instagram posts about his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, their children and various celebrity feuds with the likes of Michael Che, Pete Davidson and Kid Cudi, to name a few. Fervor was so intense yesterday that Ye managed to trend ahead of the Super Bowl. Imagine that!

But today is a different day with a much more locally-angeled story: Kanye West is coming to town! On Monday, the rapper’s team announced that he’s bringing his traveling Donda 2 Experience performance to Miami’s LoanDepot Park on February 22, 2022. Could Kanye be into numerology? All signs point to yes, but we digress.

Tickets for the auspicious date are on sale now via Live Nation, and seats are going quickly. Prices range from $145 in the stadium upper level to $310 in the lower sections, plus tax and fees, of course. In December, Ye and special guest Drake performed before an audience of 70,000 people at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which was livestreamed around the world. Miami should expect a more intimate listening experience as LoanDepot Park, formerly Marlins Park, is reported to hold about 37,000 people. Nonetheless, the five-time Grammy Award-nominated Donda album—Ye’s 10th—will be heard throughout every corner of the stadium and, presumably, Little Havana.

Now, the question remains, who will Ye bring to Miami to perform with him?
