Tales of the Cocktail have nominated these Montreal cocktail bars as the best in the world

We’ll always be the first to tell you that the best bars in Montreal easily rank among the top names in the world, but some recognition from Tales of the Cocktail—an international conference that gathers cocktail and spirits professionals from around the world—is always more than welcome.

On April 14^th, the New Orleans-based foundation moved forward with the announcement of its nominees for promise and proved talents in multiple categories from around the world, despite having to postpone the glitz and glamour of its main event. Many Canadian bars are currently being name-dropped to represent the country at large among the international categories (which includes Asia, countries of the Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Africa), and right now, several of cocktail bars in Montreal are among the Regional Top 10 honorees for the following: Best International Bar Team, Best International Cocktail Bar, Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar, Best International Hotel Bar and Best New International Cocktail Bar.

Winners of each category will be join the echelons of the Spirited Awards, and while the competition is fierce, we’re going to be rooting for the locals at a time where it’s more important than ever to cheer on those that keep us pleasantly intrigued and tipsy.
