Mini snowpark, obstacle course and boulder climbing wall? Ski and snowboard competitions for snow lovers, pop up shops, DJ sets and an aprés ski party?

APIK, a family-friendly event in the heart of Montreal, is offering winter activities from February 24 to March 5, 2023 in the Quartier Latin that the whole family can enjoy.

With winter excursions (like the epic treetop trail and tower Le Sentier des cimes Laurentides) just a short drive from the city, plus some of the best skiing in the province nearby, having a ski hill in the heart of the city feels like the ultimate winter luxury.

Best news? It’s all free

Kicking things off with a skiing and snowboarding competition on Saint-Denis Street between Sherbrooke East and Ontario, 100 athletes will compete for the chance to win a $20,000 prize with points awarded for skill and style.

Expect an electric atmosphere full of dazzling lights, festive sounds and lots of White Claw.

Looking for a free lesson? Hit the snowpark from March 1 to 5 where experienced instructors will be on standby. If you’re a snowboarder, bring your own equipment, or test drive a pair of snowskates (available on-site).

Don’t miss the grand opening on February 25, hosted by l’Abreuvoir Bar & Terrasse on their heated terrasse!
