One of Montreal’s most iconic Grand Prix traditions is officially back — and this year marks a major milestone.

As Montreal gears up for another Formula 1 season, Crescent Street once again looks set to be the epicentre of the city’s biggest party weekends of the year.
The Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary with four days of massive crowds, live music, celebrity appearances, racing activations and nonstop race-week energy in the heart of downtown Montreal.

What started 25 years ago as a small street party during Formula 1 weekend has evolved into one of Canada’s biggest free outdoor festivals, with more than 600,000 people expected to flood Crescent Street throughout the weekend.
The Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival runs from May 21 to 24, 2026.
Stretching through the downtown core, the festival has become one of the defining experiences of Montreal’s Grand Prix season — transforming the city into an open-air party packed with DJs, brand pop-ups, nightlife, luxury cars and interactive experiences.

Produced by Segal Entertainment in collaboration with the Crescent Street Merchants Association, the event continues to lean into what makes Montreal’s F1 weekend famous worldwide: nightlife, street culture and larger-than-life energy.
This year’s edition will once again turn Crescent Street into a giant pedestrian festival featuring live performances, contests, giveaways and immersive sponsor activations throughout the weekend.

Organizers say the 2026 edition also reflects a growing shift toward experience-driven events, where brands and audiences interact in real life rather than through screens.
Alongside the activations, visitors can expect packed terraces, pop-up bars, DJs and major live performances throughout the four-day celebration.
