Downtown Montreal’s favourite Christmas market is back!
Montreal really knows how to bring the holiday spirit, from hosting one of the biggest Santa Claus parades in North America to illuminating the downtown core with free light installations. And Time Out Market Montréal, home to some of the city’s best chefs and restaurants under one roof, is no different.
With all of the magical things happening at the Market this month, one of the events we’re most excited about is the Christmas market.
In collaboration with Collectif Créatif MT, the Market will be transformed into a holiday shopping paradise thanks to 40 stalls featuring almost 90 artisans over two long weekends.
Did we also mention the Market is lit up like a 40,000 square foot Christmas tree thanks to the holiday colours, sparkling baubles, twinkling lights, and thousands of decorations suspended from the ceiling?

You’ll find everything at the Time Out Market Montréal Christmas market from stunning jewelry and children’s toys to ceramics and pottery, with unique fragrances, candles, clothing and accessories in between.
After the ultimate local holiday shopping experience, refuel with something delicious to eat from the Market’s limited-time only holiday menu, or a glass of wine and charcuterie platter from the new wine bar.
When is the Christmas market happening at Time Out Market Montréal?
A collaborative effort with Collectif Créatif MTL, Time Out Market Montréal’s Christmas market is happening across two weekends: December 7–10 and December 13–17.

The Market’s exclusive holiday menu kicks off December 1 to January 4.
Love a Christmas choir? Enjoy a free event by the Hummingbirds Trio Vocal Christmas Choir on two consecutive Saturdays: Saturday, December 9 (noon to 3 p.m.) and Saturday, December 16 (noon to 3 p.m.)
Last but definitely not least, join us for the best New Year's Eve deal in town on December 31 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Take a culinary journey around the globe while welcoming the New Year. Each spot at the Market — featuring some of the best chefs and restaurants in Montreal under one roof — will be decorated with the colours and flags of the country associated with their cuisine.
