How the ranking works
Modeled after the Michelin system, the 50 Top ranking relies on anonymous visits from culinary inspectors who evaluate everything from the calibre of ingredients to technical mastery and overall guest experience.
For the second consecutive year, NO.900 was the only Canadian chain invited to attend the gala, underscoring its growing influence on the global artisan-pizza scene—the sole Canadian chain invited two years running.
What’s so special about NO.900?
NO.900 honours Neapolitan tradition while championing Quebec’s artisans and producers. It remains the only chain worldwide certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) in the artisan chain category—a rigorous distinction that governs everything from flour choice to fermentation, dough handling, and wood-fired baking technique.
In March, pizzaiolo Mirko D’Agata added another milestone to the chain’s story, winning the world championship in the Neapolitan pizza category at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas—the first time a Quebec-based pizza maker has claimed the title.
The NO.900 Group develops innovative restaurant concepts and operates 37 locations across Canada and France. Known for its artisanal Neapolitan pizzas, the brand distinguishes itself through ingredient excellence, expert craftsmanship, and a warmly welcoming dining experience.
