Enter Le Burger Week, an annual, week-long food festival (and competition!) across Canada where participating restaurants create unique, signature burgers for the public to try, rate, and vote on.
How long is Burger Week?
From September 1 to 7, 2026, Le Burger Week celebrates its 15th anniversary with a nationwide search for Canada’s Best Burger—and Montreal is getting in on the competition.
After more than 5,000 participating restaurants over the years, the burger festival is bringing back its competitive spirit for its milestone anniversary.
Montreal burger lovers can discover limited-time creations at participating restaurants across the city, then vote for their favourites.
What’s happening during Burger Week at Time Out Market Montréal?
Four Market chefs are featuring exclusive burger creations for the event.
We’re talking about smashed, smoked, jerk, double duck… four burgers with four different takes:
Steakhouse Burger at Chez Simon Cantine Urbaine
Texan Burger at Americas BBQ
Jerk Burger at Paul Toussaint
Double Duck Supreme at Dobe & Andy
The winning Le Burger Week burger will be selected based on a combination of public votes, burger quality and social media presence, giving Montreal restaurants a chance to compete for the title of Canada’s Best Burger.
With a week dedicated to creative burgers, fierce competition and plenty of opportunities to eat your way through Montreal, Le Burger Week’s 15th anniversary is one for local burger fans to watch.
