It’s official: more weather is on its way.

First it was an ice storm.

Now, according to a report by MeteoMedia, a clipper-style system is making its way to southern Quebec overnight and bringing up to 10 cm of snow with it.

After consistent snowfall overnight, temperatures will plunge down to –12°C Wednesday morning

When will the snowfall start in Montreal?

The first snow will hit Outaouais Tuesday evening, followed by Montreal later that night.

The snow should end in Gatineau overnight and taper off around sunrise in Montreal, though some scattered flurries may linger in Estrie and Beauce.

Road conditions will need careful monitoring Wednesday morning.
