Come out August 5th for the 10th Annual "Laugh Out Loud" Comedy for a Cause event benefiting New Orleans Lympho-Maniacs! All tickets sales will be donated to charity!

One of New Orleans most requested comedians whose material covers a wide range of topics, from current events to real life situations. He discusses the adventures of his Married life, family life, and life in post Katrina New Orleans. Wes began his comedy career in 2003 and since then has worked regularly with local and national acts including comedian Dennis Miller. He is also an actor performing in national commercials and most recently in network television shows NCIS: New Orleans and Treme.

Performed for audiences all over the country and is cohost of the weekly show Comedy Gumbeaux. He was featured on the Jaime Foxx Laughapalooza Comedy Festival in Atlanta in 2002 and 2005 and was in the movie Big Momma’s House 2 starring Martin Lawrence.

Native New Orleanian comedian/actor/writer who has performed standup at venues including Harrah’s Casino New Orleans, The Howlin’ Wolf, Boomtown Casino, Le Chat Noir, House of Blues, Republic New Orleans, and Hollywood Casino in Mississippi. He was recently voted 2015’s #2 Best Local Comic by Gambit. James has shared the stage with nationally touring comedians including Hannibal Buress (Comedy Central, Netflix, feature film Daddy's Home), Sean Patton (Comedy Central, Conan O'Brien, Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon), and Rich Aronovitch (The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, Gotham Comedy Live).

Voted the Best Local Comedian in New Orleans 2012 by Gambit Weekly readers. He has appeared at The House of Blues, Boomtown Casino, Treasure Chest Casino, The Howlin’ Wolf, Republic New Orleans, Le Chat Noir Theatre, Tipitina’s and at comedy clubs in both Houston and Chicago. J.D. derives much of his comedic material from his everyday life experiences and his style can best be summed up in 3 words: INTENSE, INTENSE, INTENSE! Notably, J.D. is also the co-founder of The Comedy Fusion Revival Tour, which produces comedy shows at several well-known New Orleans venues, including a monthly feature show at The Irish House on historic St. Charles Avenue.
