WTUL’s annual Hootenanny is an Americana music showcase that highlights some of the city’s best Americana and roots musicians alongside emerging regional and national acts. Over 30 bands have played the Hootenanny including: The Avett Brothers, Eilen Jewell, Tim Easton, Humming House, Phil Lee, The Figs, Rachel Goodrich, Hurray For The Riff Raff, The Howdies, Sweet Olive String Band, Carsie Blanton, Grayson Capps and many many more! All proceeds go to support WTUL, New Orleans’ progressive music community radio station.

This year's Hootenanny will feature:
-Thomas & Theresa Trio: (local) Louisiana roots music

-Cactus Thief: (local) roots gospel swamp music

-5am Rumble Strip: (Scottland) alt-country folk'n'roll murder-ballads
