BateBunda (pronounced "bah-che-boon-dah") plays Afro-Brazilian party music on the streets of New Orleans. What started as a small group of drummers playing rhythms from northeast Brazil has become a powerhouse music machine with a dozen drummers, a full horn section, and a dedicated dance team. BateBunda shines during carnival season, when we parade for Krewe de Vieux and Muses, and perform at balls for various krewes. And for the past few years, BateBunda has been killing it at clubs like One Eyed Jack's and Maison on Frenchmen. With a huge and growing fan base in downtown New Orleans, BateBunda rocks every event that we play.
Rusty Lazer is New Orleans DJ and Manager that specializes in the street music of his adopted home town. Though known primarily as the live DJ and creative partner of Sissy Bounce rapper Nicky Da B, and formerly as Big Freedia's manager for 3 years, as a solo DJ Rusty Lazer brings the Bounce Music (and the dancers!) that make the booties go!
