By Any Scenes Necessary: The Glass Menagerie says
Blow out your candles, Laura… It’s the ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of By Any Scenes Necessary!

Taking stories you know and love, trimming them down to their bare plot bones and acting them out as gears constantly switch, By Any Scenes Necessary is an unfiltered, unrehearsed and unPREDICATABLE event. Performers begin presenting a condensed version of the story and hilarity ensues as situations, settings and styles change periodically throughout the performance!

In this installment, actors and long-form improvisers will come together to ridiculously recreate Tennessee Williams’ THE GLASS MENAGERIE on stage, without a script, and with only their wits, wiles and wild imaginations at their disposal.

But, rest assured, the story will be told BY ANY SCENES NECESSARY!

Creator Cecile Monteyne has assembled an all-star cast of fellow NOLA Project company members and some of the city’s finest improvisers to perform the 1944 memory play:

• Grace Blakeman
• Ian Hoch
• Andrew Larimer
• Emily Slazer
• Mike Spara
• Josh Toups

Join us Friday, April 1 for the Literary Late-Night even that is, once again, sure be the talk of The Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival!
