Connections & Cocktails: Public Health And Health Sciences says
In terms of industry in New Orleans, Public Health, Health Services and BioInnovation are on the rise. In recent years we've seen over $2 billion in infrastructure investment in the BioDistrict New Orleans, and there is tremendous growth potential for jobs in the health care/bioinnovation sectors in New Orleans. We want to make sure our 504ward members get connected to this world, so we're hosting a Connections & Cocktails event to get you in the know.

Connections & Cocktails is a series where we invite local industry leaders to come meet and talk with smart young people (that's y'all). You have a few drinks, you meet people, you learn, and perhaps you meet that person who helps you get your foot in the door. There's no real structure and no pressure. It's good people with a good knowledge base coming in to have a good time and answer some questions.

Our Public Health and Health Sciences Connections & Cocktails event will happen Tuesday, April 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Brennan's (417 Royal). It's totally free to come, we just ask that you sign up at the link above so we know who is coming. (That link also has a list of key leaders in the industry who will be attending, so you know who's coming.)

We are thrilled to be hosting this event in partnership with the ReFresh Project, Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI), Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and LSUHSC School of Public Health.
