This event, specifically designed for children K-grade 5, is a combination language lesson, cooking class and garden talk.
Chef Matthew Kopfler of L'enfant Terrible and French Language Instructor Manon Bellet (Facebook: Français à la carte - New Orleans, website: http://francaisalacarte.info/) will co-facilitate this one-of-a-kind opportunity for your child (and you!) to enjoy the beauty of our gardens while at the same time improving French vocabulary about gardening, vegetables and fruit, and garden wildlife (and we have plenty, including chickens!) The class begins with a garden walk, includes basic cooking class, French vocabulary around cooking, eating and drinking and a kid friendly lunch! Everything will be translated to French, with language lesson handouts and recipes.
