Harrah's New Orleans says
The American Cancer Society, Harrah’s New Orleans and New Orleans Fashion Week are joining together to present the inaugural Eat, Drink & Cure Brunch at Harrah’s Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The brunch will honor breast cancer survivors and raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.

Attendees will enjoy bountiful brunch fare including grillades and grits, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit and a complimentary Cure Royal cocktail, Mimosa or Bloody Mary. During brunch a fashion show presented by New Orleans Fashion Week will showcase fall fashions and world renowned hat designs from New Orleans based milliner, Fleur De Paris.

T-Ray the Violinist and the Rolling Elvi will entertain guests while they shop silent auction items from local businesses and bid on bedazzled bras designed by Harrah’s New Orleans’s employees and modeled by local male fitness models. New Orleans artist Frenchy will capture the event on canvas with a one-of-a-kind painting that will be auctioned off at the end of the event.

Tickets are $35 per person or $300 for a table of 10. All guests must be at least 21 years old. For tickets call the American Cancer Society at 504-833-4024
