Wild Lotus Yoga says
This workshop is wonderful not only for experienced meditators, but also those you've wanted to start a meditation practice but have always struggled with the traditional aspects of sitting still in silence. Come, learn, and experience how to harness the power of our senses and channel them into inner peace through meditation.

Yantras are geometric mandalas that evoke various qualities of consciousness, such as transformation, abundance, mental and physical healing, devotion, and creativity. Mantras are Sanskrit phrases that work similarly to Yantras, except instead of utilizing visual and aesthetic properties, they make use of language and sound.

In this workshop we will learn more about how these two powerful vehicles of energy function by exploring them together in our own creative ritual. In this ritual we will create our own Yantra out of colored rice and flowers, sing mantras, lightly move our bodies. The practice will culminate in a sound bath with singing bowls, bells, and gongs. Our intention is to provide an an opportunity to not only learn about these aspects of yoga but experience them first hand as well.
