Helping Out With Lark In The Park

Time Out says

This isn't an official Trash Mob event, but Devoted Trash Mobster Natalie has a request to make of all of friends of NOLA Trash Mob. Here is her message: "Hey guys, Was curious if y'all would be able to volunteer at a fundraiser my organization, Friends of City Park, has coming up. It's our annual big dollar fundraiser called Lark in the Park. This is the very first park event to attempt to go as green as possible. We are hoping to have "garbage stations" set up throughout the Botanical Garden where the event will be held. There'll be 3 separate compartments: compost, recycle, trash. We need people to kinda man those stations to make sure people understand where to put their refuse. And then also to kinda haul the trash from different points in the garden to the dumpster area. The event is Friday, March 13, 2015 from 7:00-11:00 in the garden at City Park. We haven't broken out volunteer shifts yet, but I'll keep y'all posted. Something to keep on your radar. I'd love it if y'all could help out. Y'all could also walk around and enjoy the event after a shift." If you are interested in helping out, please email Jennifer Montgomery, Special Events and Marketing Coordinator for Friends of City Park, if you plan to volunteer so you can get signed up for a shift: jmontgomery@friendsofcitypark.com ****Only confirming that you are going on this FB page is not enough! Please email Jennifer to make it officially happen!****
