This is the ulitmate power trio!! Brad Walker is the most sought after saxophone player in New Orleans. Playing with such a wide range of styles with such acts as Johnny Sketch, Colin Lake, and Redrawblak, he's not only a master of the instrument, but a master of all the loops and effects that goes along with it. Albey Balgochian is New Orleans newest adition to the experimental scene. After ruling the bass world in New York with such greats as Cecil Taylor for many years, he has decided to relocate here and make his Nola debut at Instant Opus. This guy is a super human bass player, and I'm so happy to welcome him to our scene. Marcello Benetti is the ruler of rhythm. He's capable of keeping it groovy even while playing many multiple time signatures at once. As the leader of the New Orleans International Sound Exchange and H.I.P. Fest he is responsable for bringing the worls best improvisers here, but you proably know him from Trapper Keeper or as a regular at Open Ears.
