Often times we hear much about yoga, but when we first try to attend a vinyasa yoga class, even though we love it, at times it moves too fast and we wish we could slow down just a bit to learn the basics.

It's important to learn the foundation of yoga asana (postures) in order to build a healthy, safe, long and happy practice.

This is why we have formulated this special workshop for you

Mastery comes from a beginners mindset.

In this workshop you will learn:

* the classical yoga poses

*correct breathing for practice

*basic alignment principles in order to be safe and cultivate a healthy practice

*how to transition through vinyasas

(meaning chaturanga dandasana, upwards facing dog and down dog)

*how to modify poses

*principles of vinyasa yoga

*the purpose of a well rounded practice - sequencing

* savasana - final relaxation - (why we do it)

*Class level recommendations

We will close our workshop with open questions for anything else you may want to include and we will talk about how to progress your practice over time, safely with steadiness and zeal.
