LA46 says
So once-a-month I host a little live music shindig called LIVE at LA46 where I invite everyone including film industry friends, music friends, fashion friends, photography friends and everyone else! Coming up on Saturday, October 10th at 7pm during October's upcoming Second Saturday St. Claude Arts District Night at LA46 — Lucy Ray and Randal Gary will perform a unique blend of original songs, mountain murder ballads, and their alternative take on rural music from both North Carolina and Louisiana at our “LIVE at LA46” music series all in the relaxed intimate settings of LA46. These evenings are always free to the public but donations for the musicians are welcomed and accepted.

Lucy Ray and Randal Gary’s songs and duets will take you in and embrace you. They weave their common musical threads into a rich tapestry of Southern music. Drawing from a variety of musical influences, they merge the traditional aspects of the Carolina mountains with the rhythms of Southern Louisiana. Currently based out of Asheville, NC, Randal Gary is a native New Orleanian and Lucy is from North Carolina, although she lived for 25 years in London. Their CD will be out by this show - it is titled Time & Time Again.

Seating is available at 7pm, performance begins at 8pm for an hour, and the evening concludes at 10pm or when ever Lucy Ray and Randal Gary feel like it. LA46 Vintage Market & General Store located at 2232 St. Claude Avenue in the Marigny (New Orleans) next to the Allways Lounge, across the street from Siberia and catty-corner from the Hi-Ho Lounge - near the old Schwegmann’s at Elysian Fields.
