'My Depression' is an animated and humorous short film documenting a woman's journey through a bout of depression. The film features the voices of Sigourney Weaver, Steve Buscemi, Fred Armisen, and Dan Fogler, and is based on the award-winning graphic memoir by famed Broadway writer, director, and composer Elizabeth Swados, who has struggled with depression her whole life. Simultaneously heartfelt and entertaining, 'My Depression' illuminates the symptoms, emotions, and side effects of the misunderstood and misrepresented disorder through witty comedy and unique musical numbers.

"It’s as charming and whimsical a discussion of depression as you’re likely to find." - The New York Times

Refreshments will be served, and a group discussion led by Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Student Resources and Support Services (SRSS), and theWELL will follow the film.

The Forum Tulane Film Series presents films that are related to this year's Forum Tulane theme of "resilience."
