Tibetan Monks Chanting & Dancing, Mardi Gras Indians, Gospel Music, Kirtan Chanting From The Yoga Tradition, Vodou Chanting and Ceremony, Jewish Sacred Music, Japanese Taiko Drumming & Jazz Improvisation, Native American Chants, African Ancestor Celebration, Sound Healing Workshops, Sufi Songs and Muslim Call To Prayer, Spoken Word & Medieval Christian Chants, and so much more. The day begins with a morning peace walk from St Roch cemetery and culminates with the dedication of The International Shrine Of Marie Laveau (You can contribute toward this interactive community art installation at In addition to continuous music performances inside Cafe Istanbul performance hall throughout the day, other offerings include a Hindu Fire Sacrifice, the creation of a sand mandala by a group of Tibetan monks, Sacred Art Exhibit, Youth Program, and booths with local craftspeople, artisans, and community organizations.
