Join us at Marigny Opera House on

OperaCréole is proud to present our first major production!

Set in 1840s New Orleans, William Grant Still's opera "Minette Fontaine" tells a lush, melodious tale of intrigue, greed and retribution in the Crescent City of long ago.

Minette, a glamorous Parisian opera singer, comes to New Orleans to sing at one of our great opera houses. After being slighted by her hostess for not being of Creole society, she sets her sights on revenge and enlists the help of Marie Laveau, but not without controversy and consequences.
This tale of Creole angst, love triangles will leave you captivated and speechless! It is the perfect musical note for a perfectly spooky weekend!
