Pitch Night New Orleans In Partnership With Art Prize says
5 New Orleans artists / 5 minute pitch / $5,000 prize and a guaranteed exhibition spot at a premier ArtPrize venue at UICA.

ArtPrize is teaming up with the CAC to host Pitch Night New Orleans—a one-night event where a New Orleans-based artist will leave with a $5,000 grant to create an ambitious installation at ArtPrize. Earlier this year, artists were invited to submit proposals for an installation at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA), Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the heart of the ArtPrize district. Five artists were selected from a pool of applicants to give a five-minute presentation at the Pitch Night New Orleans event, using five slides each. A panel of five expert judges and the audience will be able to ask questions of the artists following the presentations. The panel will select the winner, awarding the winning artist a $5,000 grant to realize their proposal at UICA during ArtPrize Nine, September 20-October 8, 2017.

The artists presenting on Pitch Night New Orleans are:

Ashley Teamer + Marta Rodriguez Maleck
Avery Lawrence
Margaret Parsons
Pippin Frisbie-calder
Tirock Moore

Free and Open to the Public. Beer, wine, and cheese will be served.
