Description: An open self guided practice and drift space where sacred healing sound is revered and silence is honored.

Come chill in the quiet, serene and magical atmosphere at Swan River Yoga in a 3 hour open time frame, coming at any time during that time frame that you choose.

Temple of Sound is an open practice of your own in a 3 hour segment where you may choose to simply lie down and fall asleep, relax, sit, bask, stare, meditate, do breathing exercises, write, contemplate, do Restorative yoga with our extensive props or any type of self lead asana of your own that you wish.

Come at any time between the hours of self lead Temple of Sound space, joining and leaving on your own as you please in a divinely orchestrated, trusted, quiet, clean, sattvic, high vibrational ambient atmosphere.

The Temple of Sound space will be held and directed by Michelle Baker, Keith Porteous & Robert Dill once per month. Check listings for specific dates.

Break through discord through listening and silence. Called "Mauna" (taking a vow of silence) in Sanskrit, this practice is required of you. There will be no talking or conversation once you enter the second floor and very minimal to none on the 1st by us all.

Inspired by many listening and lying down concerts in the east, these selected swan musicians will lead the sacred path of "Nada Brahma", meaning “sacred sounds for purposes of healing to our original state”. Experience a magical sound atmosphere without any conversation the entire 3 hour duration without having to “do” anything.

Subtle body sound vibrations and frequencies from pure instruments and pure mantras are all that will fill the air, elevating the ability to receive and to listen. Instruments such as 40 crystal bowls, gongs, Tibetan metal bowls, water-fone, gamelan from Bali, grand piano, harmonium instrumentation from India, harp, guitar and pure voices will enchant your ability to come back to harmony for as little or as long as you wish.

Again, this class is not lead. There are no hands on assists. It is silent and personal. No one will tell you how your practice should be. All that remains is a deeply musical, caring, protected space for the soul purpose of orchestrating healing of the inner atmosphere through pure sound.

There are no social expectations. It is not a social time but a time to shift and get in tune. You may stay as little or as long as you wish in the Temple of Sound. But know now, that there is always a place for you to go where your way of practicing is honored.

Investment: $14 (for up to 3 hours)
