[show art by Andrew Polk] **** Colleen Allerton and Lauren LaBorde are rude., a New Orleans-based multimedia sketch duo that delivers a high-energy show combining live sketch comedy, videos, improvised stand-up and sometimes, choreographed dance routines. rude.'s live performances are characterized by an "in-your-face style ... with skewering sketches and video shorts" (Cate Root, Times Picayune | nola.com) and a "unique and beautiful affection [they bring] to the stage every time they are together" (Sophie Lucido Johnson, HellYesFest.com). Together they created the viral video "My Purse, My Choice," which received over 400,000 views and was featured on MSNBC, The Today Show, CNN, The New York Times and your mother's Facebook page. They debuted their sketch show "Not Here to Make Friends" at the 2013 Hell Yes Fest, and since then have performed their multimedia sketch shows to packed houses in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Austin, and all across the east coast as part of the Self-Titled Comedy Tour in October 2014.
