We are so excited for this week's Megaphone Show guest, HOPE KODMAN! Hope is creator and co-owner of New Orleans' first progressive sex shop, Dynamo: A Romantic Boutique in the Deep South, located as a pop-up upstairs at The New Movement Thursdays-Monday! We can't wait to get an ear full of her stories this Saturday at 10:30pm!
More on Hope: Originally from Kentucky, Hope came to New Orleans in 2009 with a love for culture and costuming and a passion for frank, honest talk about sexuality. She believes that everyone is entitled to accurate information about sex, sex toys that are safe for the body, and a joyful, passionate love life. She also really likes listening to other people talk about their kinks. In an effort to make a career out of all of this, Hope created Dynamo, New Orleans' first progressive sex shop. With co-owner Nico, she ran it for two years as a pop-up at burlesque shows, before getting the opportunity to open as a brick and mortar on St Claude Avenue. Now located upstairs at the New Movement, she loves being surrounded by laughter every day.
When she's not talking up vibrators, Hope can be found recreating New Orleans' past with Louisiana History Alive, hosting the occasional burlesque show, and marching with the Noisician Coalition.
