Tranche / Hestina / Skelatin At Gasa Gasa says
Tranche is the New Orleans-based rock outfit and songwriting collaboration of vocalist Laura Fisher and guitarist Jeremy Marx. The band's lineup also features Jonathan Arceneaux on drums and Devin Kerrigan on bass. Their sound can best be described as "experimental dreamscape grunge" and is a culmination of influences from Jeff Buckley to Tool, Radiohead to Tedeschi Trucks Band, James Blake to eyehategod, and Chelsea Wolfe to the Melvins. Tranche is a proud artist of Bubble Bath Records (New Orleans) and Guava Records (NYC). A series of live video recordings and a debut album are anticipated for release throughout 2017, as well as summer tour dates in the U.S.

This soulful-folk duo, Hestina, "is guided by an intrinsic, instinctual, guttural groan- a yearning far beyond themselves" says Kimberly. Having just re-released their debut Album, Blossom Talk, with Autumn Tone Records in mid-April they are eager to share this record. Blossom Talk is "a metamorphosis and compilation of songs that time capsule's our transition into becoming a band".

Skelatin is a vehicle for the songs of bassist and vocalist Sam Levine. The band's debut "Double EP" These Living Rooms sees them distill moments from the vast terrain of rock, from tight indie dance arrangements, to glammy guitar solos, to psych and stoner instrumental sections. These soundscapes all serve to accentuate Levine's clever lyrical style, which reveals a varied outlook - at times earnest and raw, others coy and cynical. Irony is in no short supply in these songs, more as a welcome surrogate for melodrama than a cry for attention.
