Women In Sideshow: Panel Discussion says
From working acts to human oddities, female performers have always been an intergral part of the sideshow business. The Women in Sideshow: Panel Discussion aims to discuss our past, present and future as performers and professionals. Topics will include the responsibilities of teaching the next generation, difficulties faced by women in the insdustry, and other relevant industry issues. Discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A. Open to all.

Panelists will include:

Alex Doll: Meet the deviously dainty carnival darling, Alex Doll! Hailing from Washington, DC, this dynamic damsel runs Atomic Doll Productions, where she has created high-profile sideshow experiences for clients such as Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Shocked and Amazed, Fox and ABC. She has performed on ABC7, Monster Madhouse TV, at Ripley's Believe It Or Not and in night clubs and comic book shops all over the United States to the delight and cringe-worthy swooning of her audiences. Ms. Doll currently serves as a textual maven and oddities nurse for Shocked and Amazed: On and Off the Midway and as a journalist for Huffington Post: Weird News.

Boobzilla: Witnessing The Amazing Boobzilla in action is more than just dangerous stunts and wacky adventures. It’s a laugh a minute thrill ride that has been seen on AMC’s FREAKSHOW, truTV’s Full Throttle Saloon, Adam Pearson: Freak Show - BBC Three, and Nickelodeon’s What Would You Do? Boobzilla's "hurricane of energy” can be seen demonstrating unique talents ranging from strait jacket escapes to breaking concrete using ONLY her massive breasts! Think you've seen it all? Not till you've experienced Boobzilla!

Reggie Bugmucher: Reggie Bügmüncher is ½ of Philadelphia’s Olde City Sideshow and Co-Producer of the Southern Sideshow Hootenanny. She was voted Burlesque Bitch of the year 2014 by Burlesque Bitch Magazine. She has been performing in the Variety Arts for a decade and has been featured in stories by news outlets from Fox to NPR and in books and magazines on Tattoos and Sideshow. She has opened up for Primus, suspended for Jane's Addiction, performed for Ripley’s Believe it or Not, the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Franklin Institute and countless venues from Coney Island to nightclubs across the US to State Fairs. She Emcees, produces and performs all over the country from LA to NOLA to the East Coast. Reggie specializes in redefining sideshow acts from a female perspective with sexual undertones.

As an award-winning writer, Ilise S. Carter’s work has appeared in the New York Times, the AV Club, Playboy, O Magazine and other outlets. As the Lady Aye, she is one of fewer than three dozen living female sword swallowers, who’s worked with everyone from Cirque de Soleil to Rob Zombie and been called one of “the masters of modern sideshow,” by Sideshow World.
