Breathe deep and relax your mind and body with this FREE yoga class in our beautiful garden.

This weeks teacher: Annie Yeh
Annie's relationship start with yoga was a rocky one. Her first yoga class was a community class in Berkeley, CA. She pushed her body beyond its limit, tweaking her knee attempting lotus pose, ending up on crutches for two weeks. She vowed never to return to another yoga class! Four years later she found herself going to another yoga class after a rough breakup. Her mind was all over the place and she was ready to run out of the room before class was over. It wasn’t until another tumultuous time in her life that she decided to give yoga one third try. She stumbled upon an Ashtanga yoga class and was hooked. The class challenged her body and mind, forcing her to focus on just being present. Nine years later, yoga continues to be an ever present force in her life. Her yoga practice has evolved beyond attempting physically challenging asanas to encompass a gentler, more meditative approach. Her mat is her compass, helping her weather tough situations with grace and equanimity. She aspires to make yoga accessible to everyone, anywhere.
