Ever checked social media while sitting at your desk and found yourself enviously scrolling through a friend’s Glastonbury carousel, or tapping furiously through someone’s story while they saunter around New York Fashion Week? We’ve all been there. Whether it’s Wimbledon or the Monaco Grand Prix, Coachella or Cannes Film Festival that you’re ogling – there is plenty to be envious of, after all.
But luxury lovers can rejoice, as what sounds like the dream job has just been announced by Velloy.
The premium access card company is hiring one incredibly fortunate person to be a ‘luxury content creator’ – someone they’re gonna send to some amazing events to capture footage for social media.
The candidate will be expected – no, privileged – to attend at least three events per month, while capturing content and writing up blog copy for the Velloy website. All food and drinks expenses will be covered, not just for you, but for one very, very lucky plus one.
And it’s not just New York Fashion Week, the BAFTAs or Glastonbury entry that’s on the cards. The person Velloy hires will also get to sample Michelin-star food and stay in five-star hotels, all while rubbing shoulders with the celebs.
If that all sounds a bit taxing, don’t worry – you’ll be granted flexible working hours and be given a phone, tablet, plus some spending money to ensure you ‘make the most of each event.’ Oh, and a salary of £100,000. But that’s all.
