Dedicated to the promotion of emerging new faces in contemporary art, the fifth edition of the Biennale de la Jeune Création Européenne stops off at the Beffroi de Montrouge – just south of the Périphérique – from October 15-November 3 2015. Showcasing works by 56 up-and-coming artists from France, Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Italy, Spain and Portugal, the Biennale JCE awards a ‘Grand Prix’ to the three most promising artists. The winners get five of their works displayed in a world-renowned gallery in Bruxelles, while the Biennale’s festivities travel onward to partner countries like Denmark, Portugal and Latvia.
